Day 1 – Bikes, Moreland, Smores

  • Morning: Rent bikes and cruise through the Spanish moss-lined trails to Moreland Village. Explore the grounds and climb to the top of Moreland Tower for panoramic views of the May River.

  • Lunch: Grab a casual lunch at The Canteen.

  • Afternoon: At 4 PM, enjoy “Porching” at the Inn – complimentary cookies and sweet tea or lemonade served daily on the porch.

  • Evening: Dinner at Octagon Porch, followed by nightly s’mores at the firepits near the river.


Day 2 – Day on the Water + Seafood in Bluffton

  • Morning to Afternoon: Charter a boat and spend the day cruising the May River. Options include dolphin tours, sunset cruises, tubing, wakeboarding, or even boating out to Hilton Head or Daufuskie Island.

  • Late Afternoon: Relax at the Inn Family Pool

  • Evening: Drive 10 minutes to Bluffton and enjoy dinner at FARM – a rustic-chic hotspot serving elevated Southern cuisine and craft cocktails.


Day 3 – Savannah or Charleston Day Trip

  • Morning: Head to Savannah (45 min) or Charleston (2+ hrs) for a day trip. Take a walking tour to marvel at the classic Southern architecture and historic homes.

  • Afternoon: Cool off at a nearby beach – Tybee Island near Savannah or Sullivan’s Island near Charleston are both beautiful spots.

  • Evening: On your way back, grab dinner at Bluffton Oyster Co., everyone's favorite spot for some of the freshest seafood in the Lowcountry.


Day 4 – Sports & Marsh Wildlife Tour

  • Morning: Take a tennis or golf lesson, or play pickleball. Palmetto Bluff also offers croquet, a fun activity for a family or larger group.

  • Lunch: Grab a casual lunch at RT’s Market or from the River House food trucks.

  • Afternoon: Take a guided kayaking or paddleboarding tour through the salt marsh for wildlife spotting and peaceful vibes.

  • Evening: Dinner at Cole’s in Moreland – a laid-back, family-friendly spot with a large menu. If you're up it, visit the bowling alley located inside Cole’s.


Day 5 – Spa Day + Shopping

  • Morning: Brunch at Buffalo’s in Wilson Village. Then unwind with a spa treatment at the Montage Spa.

  • Afternoon: Shop at the Inn Boutique, Simone’s, and Paris Market – all offering elegant apparel and curated home goods. Spend the rest of the day poolside:

    • For peace and quiet, head to the Adults-Only River House Pool

    • For a livelier vibe, opt for the Canoe Club Pool

  • Evening: For a perfect last evening, dine at the elegant River House Restaurant located near the water. If you're in the mood for a drink after, Hush on the Bluff is a cozy, hidden speakeasy within the River House that makes great craft cocktails.
